Sam Sake corporate identity
Sam Sake is one of the trading arms of a London-based import company. As suggested by its name, Sam Sake distributes Japanese rice sake across the UK. Interestingly, the company imports sake only from the Akita prefecture in Japan.
When Sam Sake was looking to improve its brand image, it turned to lbdesign for assistance. Sam Sake asked us to help craft a logotype that brought together the company’s English heritage with its focus on Japanese sake and culture. What we created was a design that drew inspiration from the quintessentially British concentric circles of the RAF logo infused with the colours of traditional Japanese sake serving cups.
With the logotype agreed, we went on to create business cards and headed paper.
Following the corporate identity project, we worked further with Sam Sake on the design and creation of a new website for the company.
